HANDRAILS & BASERAILS

Our handrails and baserails are supplied grooved to accept the chosen spindle and fillets are included ready to be cut to length to fit between the spindles.
Unlike our competitors we supply our rails by the metre. If you require 1.9 metres we do not make you purchase a 2.4 metre length. We always cut rails around 100mm longer than the specifiied length.

BASIC HANDRAIL & BASERAIL
Our basic hand and baserail is available only in pine. At 65mm x 45mm, basic hand and baserail is grooved ready to accept 41mm spindles.

STANDARD HANDRAIL & BASERAIL
This is our most popular handrail, available in the full range of timbers. It can be supplied 45mm high x 80 to 100mm wide and grooved to accept spindles from 41 to 70mm square.
Standard handrail is also available without a groove for wall mounting.
CONTINUOUS HANDRAILS
To compliment our standard handrail we produce a full range of components for continuous handrailing. All sectional bends are supplied with handrail bolts as needed.

VICTORIAN HANDRAIL
Our Victorian hand rail is a copy of a classic 1870s handrail but works well with modern spindle designs too.
At 45mm x 80mm Victorian handrail is grooved for spindles and is supplied with fillet.
Victorian handrail allows us to produce classical sweeping 'ramp and wreath' sections for even the most complex staircase layouts.

Victorian handrail in Walnut works well with modern spindles |
Wreath and volute in Sapele. Due to the nature of ramp and wreath handrailing we need details of the design of the staircase before we can quote for such work. A typical volute in this style would cost around £80.00. |
